As an enthusiastic and dedicated John Schofield Trust fellow and trainee sports journalist, I am eager to pursue a career in sports journalism. I'm a passionate and hardworking multilingual student and swimming freelancer and sports reporter covering sports events on Merseyside for Mersey Sport Live. The Betfred Women's Super League Grand Final, the last Women's Super League Merseyside derby, and interviews with England Rugby star Sarah Beckett and Olympians Alice Dearing and Yona Knight-Wisdom were some of the highlights of my coverage.
My passion for sports journalism flourishes as a freelance writer for Nuoto Uno Stile di Vita, an Italian swimming website and where I expand my horizons beyond football to swimming. This role sharpens my storytelling abilities and make me honing my ability to craft compelling stories furthering my commitment to impactful journalism. This aligns with my dedication to crafting engaging stories, leveraging my multilingual skills and Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency.
I'm a social media team intern at Liverpool Feds WFC, developing my editing skills and reporting on fixtures and events across the football club for the official website and social media channels. My internships allowed me to build a strong background in content creation on Instagram and TikTok by producing engaging, quality content that resonates with women's football fans.
Additionally, as a volunteer for Hillsong Church Liverpool social media team, I have the opportunity to improve and test my skills in creating multimedia content to engage different members of the community, as well as learn how to create content that reaches and represents a community as a whole.
